I don't know why but I always seem to forget I have a DA account until I need to find something. LOL

So I have been busy, life and all - good stuff. I am in the middle of an epic career change, to become a Conductor on the railroad. With that I have been living far away from my Indiana home (and hubby & family) for the last 7 weeks in Wilmington, Delaware. They keep us super busy here, and I've been from New York to DC several times, fun to travel around like that. Art related things have been put on hold but here's a breakdown of that front:

Model horses - commissions are closed permanently. Once I get home and my schedule settles I will be finishing up my last few commissions and that will be the last of them. I will be making sales pieces still - they get posted first to my Facebook page for the studio (see Legacy Studios on FB), then to MHSP (Model Horse Sales Pages). Usually anything for sale on the FB page gets snapped up before I post it elsewhere - so that's the best place to follow me.

Digital stuff - closed

LOOKING FOR: Someone to do some inked lines of Scottish Deerhounds for me. Prefer someone without a backlog, that can get things done sooner than later.

Well my  Elerrasse have been around since 2008, and while I've had a chance to bring some of them to life - and have several more lined up for creation. I feel I have not given them enough of my time - and I have ideas of all sorts cramming my head just waiting to be released.

So look for some new info on the world of Eleria, and fun new ref sheets on not only more of the Elerrasse equids, but on the other races and humanoids that inhabit the realm as well.

Well you know, life keeps a person busy - and it's been some time since I've lurked around DA. I am trying to adjust to several changes since I was last around, also trying to update my galleries.

I still have a backlog of commissions but they are dwindling and I can see the light at the distant end of the tunnel. After that I will no longer be taking on new work, in order to devote time to the many personal projects I've had to shelve in favor of paid work.

Hopefully I will remember to add new images as I get them!

I am currently looking for an artist that I can commission some nice line clean art from, somewhere from 1-3 horses, based loosely off some model horse customs I have done. No coloring needed.

This is for a project related to my model horse studio and I need to retain full print rights (though your signature or mark will be retained).

54 days until the wedding and there is still sooooooooooooo much more to do! I'm excited, yet at the same time this planning crap can be a pain. I still think we should have went to Hawaii at my dad's place and had a small beach ceremony with those that could make it. But he's got his heart set on the traditional type wedding, 5 groomsman & bridesmaids, 3 flower girls.... I don't really care as long as we are happy and hitched. LOL

Still need to arrange for the cake. Fortunatley one of the family friends offered to sponsor that - yea! We tried to check out two local bakeries yesterday, but both were closed on Mondays. Grrr...

I'll have even less time to work on things as my boss just asked if I would mind working a few 6 day weeks starting next week. And since I can use all the mulah possible, I of course said sure why not. This is after I got called in to work at 4am (instead of 7) and I was half asleep after a restless few hours in bed because of a nasty acid reflux attack.

Did I also mention that my fiance got fired from his main job as they claimed that he "Slandered his workplace on Facebook" - which is BS. There was nothing on there other than the everyday, work sucks crap. No intent of malice or defamation, no specific details of anything. But the place was a soul sucking pit of hell anyway so honestly he's better off. Fortunatley he still has his part-time job, but now we are not bringing in as much money until he can find another job.

I'm just going to keep dreaming about May, when we take out delayed Honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean - or maybe Bora Bora if I can swing that. LOL

Oh yeah - espresso and antacids is soooo the breakfast of champions!
