So I've been typing away on my "Daemon" story, and though it's fun to come up with all sorts of beasties (especially after a hard day at work) I thought it would be fun to see what my fellow deviants could dream up!

:star:Your mission:star:
Create a unique Daemon, you can make something up or base it on existing legends. Daemons come in a variety of shapes and forms, from stunningly beautiful to the incarnation of your worst nightmares. Generally they fall into two classes:

- "Grey", those who follow the Code to ensure the mundane world does not discover that they co-exist with Daemons. This does not necessarily mean that they are "good" Daemons, but that they hide their activities. The majrity of Daemonkind fall into this category.

- "Dark", those Daemons that flaunt their activities, do not cover up their kills and like to terrorize humans for the general thrill.

Bonus points if you describe your Daemon's abilities and personality/quirks.

All forms and levels of art are encouraged, your idea is what I will be looking at first and foremost. I may also split the categories (digital/traditional/manips) depending on the amount of entries.

Contest ends: OCTOBER 31st, 2008

*bookmarks* i'll be trying this, definately. do you want full-blown arts or are detailed sketches ok? what exactly are you looking for, flashy/detail or creativity and time spent on creating the background of the creature?

Good art takes a long time, great art takes forever and a day
Either (full blown art or detailed sketches) are perfectly fine - I'm looking mostly at creativity and time spent on developing an interesting creature. ;D
